It magazine cover project (InDesign)

It is a film come out the last year 2017 also it is a drama/mystery film.

How to make It magazine cover in Adobe InDesign.

First, need to download  It assets from the moodle the college.

I used the application is called Adobe InDesign CC 2019 this month(October) update come out yesterday (Monday 15th October 2018).

Welcome to InDesign

 

Then create an A4 document by “Create New” also then print to the A4 portrait.

Click on the workspace to Typography

After adding two more page.

Click on pages.

Click on type tool (T)
Insert the text box

Click on Type

 

Click on type then INSERT SPECIAL to MARKERS after CURRENT PAGE NUMBER

 

Then copy the text box other pages.

Insert an images

Draw a box by the Rectangle Tool
Three page of boxes.
File to place or CMD + D
Place then open

 

To Hold Shift to keep in proportion also place on the page.

Right click on the mouse then Fitting.

Then select an option Fit content proportionally

 

Resize by fit the box

Insert text

Click on text box

Text in the text box with header/subheader with 48pt header/ 22pt subheader and the text from the document.

Then Create guides
After clicking on Create guides with the preview box
I  did create guides with 6 rows / 5 columns and check preview box

Click on file then export
Save it some also named it “IT magazine project” then save button.
Export Adobe PDF clicks on Export.

Evaluation

The work well of the It magazine because I used the assets from the moodle website the college and I used Adobe InDesign CC 2019 to create the magazine. I have added barcode in the magazine in the front of the magazine. The did not Work well of the It magazine because to use different images on the front of the magazine/across the magazine and change the layout of the magazine the text of the magazine. I would improve It magazine because to change the layout of the magazine and different typeface on the magazine. The end result of the magazine export of in the PDF format.

What is Adobe InDesign and What it is used for?

The Adobe InDesign is the desktop publishing software also to create the posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers, presentations, books also ebooks.

Main different from Photoshop.

The main different of photoshop is for photo editing for the photo is a pixel you can design for the print, web, and mobile apps. It can do the colour balance, crop, straighten images, retouching images.

 

Adobe InDesign vs Microsoft Publisher

The verses “VS” of the Adobe InDesign vs Microsoft Publisher is Microsoft Publisher is a desktop publishing software but made by Microsoft also the Adobe InDesign is a made Adobe it is industry standard software.
